New Beginings

Hi everyone.  We have been here two weeks now and today for the first time have had chance to be tourists.  Most of the official stuff is completed - the dogs are legally settled and essential items of survival purchased to get us through till our crate arrives - which will be later than expected.  So we will be living with the bare essentials and lots of make do's.  Which is fine for now but I bet we will be so pleased to see that delivery wagon.  That's if it can get down our drive, which in England would not have been granted building permission its so steep!

The house is better than we hoped and that is saying something.  The views out to the harbour and bush are incredible and the mood changes every few minutes.  You could spend all day just gazing at it and not move at all.  The night skies take your breath away and I never doubt I now live abroad when I look up at night.  So many stars and the Milky Way is so clear here.  One night I saw two shooting stars within a couple of minutes - one was huge and seemed to travel from horizon to horizon.

The people are as lovely as I remember and everyone is keen to welcome us.  I hope you enjoy the pictures of our journey so far and don't forget to post some comments for me too!
