These are some pics for our "birdy friends" - Steve, Noel and Ian. A few examples of what we see almost every day from our front deck or house windows. We keep binoculars ready as there is always something exciting to see either in our Bush or down over the Water. We are lucky where the house is sited as nothing lies in front of us by way of human habitation and there is a Natural Reserve just to the right and left of us - which is why we get the Morepork and the Harrier. I must admit that the Morepork I have only heard at night. But at least two of then hunt on our land every evening - single glazing has its disadvantages when you are trying to sleep! Also Possums snuffle about at night so Herc has to stay in.
